Tortosa<\/strong>, located next to the Ebro River, already close to the mouth and at the beginning of the delta, enjoys a Mediterranean climate. The Parador<\/a>, located in the impressive castle of La Zuda<\/span>, looks out over the city from above, in an environment that combines monumental beauty with the attractions of the different natural enclaves that surround it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tortosa is the capital of the Bajo Ebro region, located in the province of Tarragona, Catalonia (Spain) It is an important agricultural, commercial and industrial center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It preserves significant samples of medieval, renaissance, baroque and modernist architecture. It has been declared a historical-artistic complex and some of its buildings, such as the castle of La Suda<\/a>, are a National Monument.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second half of July Tortosa celebrates the Festa del Renaixement, declared a Festival of National Tourist Interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ebro delta<\/a>, located a stone’s throw from the city, is the largest wetland in Catalonia and one of the largest in Western Europe. Declared Natural Park and Biosphere Reserve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Grego house, or Pilar Fontanet house<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It is a building that faces the Plaza de la Cinta<\/a> and the street of Portal de Romeu through two perpendicular facades. t consists of a plant and three floors, the first of stone ashlars and the other plastered and with decorative sgraffito<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n
